doculam reserves the right to modify the website at any time without notice to you or any other person. By using this site you agree that doculam shall not be liable to you or any other third party for any loss incurred as a result of modification to the website.
doculam in some instances provide links to external websites in order to provide you with more information about our products. doculam shall not be held liable for any loss incurred as a result of using these linked websites.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice. doculam reserves the right to refund a customer if the product is no longer available after payment has been made or our cost price for the item has changed to above the selling price or otherwise unacceptably high price.

Stock Availability
Majority of our products are imported although we do make use of some local distributors and manufacturers. Due to the variety of products that we sell there may be incidents where we are out of stock. This would normally be visible on the site while shopping. Should this occur you could still send an inquiry through to our sales teams and place your items on Back Order with us.
Please confirm product availability before placing your order.
doculam will always do everything in our power to provide our clients with accurate stock information but sometimes our suppliers might provide us with the wrong information, or they might have an error on their systems or delays in supplying. doculam will not be liable for these types of discrepancies. The system should always show “In Stock” if stock is available and “Out of Stock” if stock is depleted. We will offer our client an alternative or immediate refund on the products ordered which cannot be honored. Alternatively, you can make contact with our sales department and place your order on Back Order to secure your order.
doculam reserves the right to cancel any order in the event that the product ordered is not in stock by us or our suppliers.

For all agency products that doculam import, doculam carry the warranty on behalf of the manufacturer. For locally sourced products doculam the warranties are subject to the warranty provided by the manufacturer or local distributors of the products.
Should a product become faulty within the warranty period, the product can be returned to one of our technical workshops for repair subject to the warranty issued for that product. After assessment of the product by our technical staff, the product will either be repaired or replaced under the terms & conditions of the warranty for that product.
Before returning any products, you must first contact us so that we may give you instructions on how to return the product. If the product you ordered is found to be faulty within 7 days of receiving your order, we will cover the cost of both the return and re-delivery of the product.
If doculam determines that the fault is not covered under the terms & conditions of the warranty, then the cost of return and delivery will be transferred to you.
If the product you ordered is found to be or becomes faulty after 7 days of receiving your order and it falls within the warranty period then the terms of the warranty become applicable which will be assessed and communicated by our workshops.

We advise opening your package as soon as your delivery is received to check that your order is satisfactory, so that we can help within 7 days of purchase. If there is any pre-existing damage to your items (incurred before the package was delivered), please capture images of the damage on delivery and send them through to us as soon as possible.
The sooner you contact us the sooner we can help.
After 7 days of purchase doculam cannot be held responsible for any failure to report; missing, damaged or unsatisfactory goods.

Delivery Costs
Our delivery costs are based on a flat rate according to value of purchase.
Below R10 000 – R150 flat rate
Over R15 000 – R500 Flat rate
Over R50 000 – R900 Flat rate

*Shipping Restrictions: We reserve the right to re-quote on deliveries if the items ordered are bulky and far exceed the flat rates provided above, the items are large or bulky, or need to be delivered to areas not serviced by courier companies.
In the event of this happening doculam reserves the right to adjust the quote price to your order. A relative quote pertaining to the size, weight and volume of the order will be provided for acceptance or rejection. Alternatively, the customer will be entitled to arrange his/her own courier or to collect from our stores. Payment for the goods without delivery will need to be confirmed before collection will be possible. Should your original order include a freight price that is no longer valid but was paid for then the freight portion of your order will be refunded or adjusted depending on what agreement we come to.

Doculam Return Policy

Kindly note that if there are any damaged/missing items in your order, it must be reported within 7 days upon receiving your parcel. We will not be held liable for missing items after 7 days. Please check your parcel upon arrival to ensure everything is in order.
As per the consumer protection act, unwanted items may be returned within 7 days of purchase, only if the product and its package and package content are complete and in a resalable condition. Unwanted and incorrectly ordered items will be returned to our premises or our suppliers’ premises at your expense. You will receive a credit/refund for the items once we receive them and are satisfied, they are in good order. A 10 percent handling fee will be charged on unwanted returns.
Should you wish we can have the package collected from you with our courier service and the cost will be deducted from your credit/refund. You will not be credited/refunded for the original delivery fee. Returning incorrectly ordered items will follow the same procedures. Products that have been used and cannot be resold are not returnable.
After 7 days items can only be returned for warranty related issues.
